Okonomiyaki [お好み焼き]

Okonomiyaki recently became one of my favorite Japanese foods. Yum yum! I found out that it originated from Kansai, Japan. For the first time in my life, I made Okonomiyaki! Yes~and it was a success! I had Okonomiyaki for snack on Valentine's Day(I should blog about that day) and that was my first time tasting one. I decided to give it a try. I looked up the recipe online and it seemed pretty easy, and it was. The other day, we went to get the ingredients...like okonomiyaki flour, okonomi sauce, kewpi mayo, aonori. It was also the first time I cooked for him^^. He even said it tastes better than the one we had at the little food shop.



It was also my first time slicing a cabbage and chopping garlic chives. The 2 eggs are waiting to join the rest of the mix :D. I just had to slice one half of a cabbage.

Anteprima x My Melody

So my mom sent me some pics a few weeks ago about this My Melody Bag...but I didn't really pay attention because I heard the price. But now that I look at it again, it's sooo cuuuute kyaaa!!! It's only sold in Japan, but my mom said if there is stock, people can buy it in H.K. too. It's basically this collab between Anteprima(expensive brand) and Sanrio(another expensive brand). Of course, lots of Japanese brands are expensive.


Isn't it SUPER CUTE?!?! This cute thing right here costs 115,500yen, which means it's about $1,400 USD. And this is only for the small version. The Bigger version is much more expensive, I'm sure. I don't think there's even room for consideration.

My Very Own Piano

I finally bought my precious precious Roland Piano[digital]. Sadly, Best Buy's only had the black one; and I didn't want to order it online....with all the shipping fee. So the total came out to be $1234.66. My heart hurts...I've never spent so much money before in one purchase for one item. I can't stop staring at it. The only thing I could play right now is do re mi fa so since I can't read notes that well. T_T Well, one thing crossed out on my wishlist. I updated a wishlist page on this blog just to keep track of what I want and what I don't want and what I got. It took us sooo long to assemble the piano >< We were both all sweaty afterwards. I need to get ready for the first day of school now TT_TT
